What to expect

Join us on the farm for a day of hands-on learning, covering planning, growing and maintaining a garden of flowers. Giving you the knowledge and confidence to grow flowers for nearly every month of the year. Whether you have a small patch to fill or bigger dreams this course will support you to choose, propagate, plant and care for beautiful cut flowers. Lots of the knowledge learnt can be transferred to the vegetable garden too! Topics covered: Planning a cut flower garden - extending the season Seed sowing Propagation Planting Soil health Watering Supporting flowers Common pests Cutting flowers No prior knowledge necessary as we will cover all the basics, those with more experience can benefit from this course if they are looking to create their own cut flower patch and would like specific ideas and tips in this area. We will adapt to the groups needs and outcomes. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided so do please let us know of any food allergies. Please wear garden ready clothes including a coat if it looks likely to rain and garden gloves. Bring a note pad and pen too. All other tools and equipment will be provided Wednesday 25th March 10-3


Cancellation Policy

We are unable to offer refunds for workshop bookings. If you cannot attend your workshop please notify us with as much notice as possible, we may offer a place on another workshop date if available or allow you to transfer your booking to a friend.
